During BlackBizFest, businesses have a golden opportunity to showcase their unique and affordable offers by submitting them for promotion on the official BlackBizFest site. Throughout the week-long festivity, we will actively promote these businesses, ensuring that BlackBizFest tourists have an abundance of exciting activities to explore. Moreover, we encourage Kansas City natives to embrace their inner tourists, venturing out to discover new and exciting flavors, products, and services within the city.

Our primary objective is not only to provide a delightful experience for BlackBizFest participants but also to bolster the prosperity of participating Black-owned businesses. By infusing revenue into these establishments, we contribute to the growth and sustainability of the Black business community in Kansas City.

As a testament to our commitment, BlackBizFest will contribute 10% of the registration fee, while businesses participating in the KC Black Business Tour will have the opportunity to generously donate 10% of their earnings. These funds will support two significant organizations—the Black Owned Business Kansas City Foundation Scholarship Fund and another prominent organization or church, to be revealed in due course. This philanthropic endeavor enhances the tour, fostering community support and collaboration, with both BlackBizFest and participating businesses remaining committed to these causes.
